YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE

As a media, communication and journalism student I spend an awful amount of time in front of my laptop. I would even go as far as stating that we are building up honest and sincere ties of friendship.

In the morning, he is the first to see me all crumpled, sleepy and without make-up as the two of us enjoy our first cup of coffee together while catching up on what happened during the night.
Sometimes, my laptop is a real chatterbox filling me with all kind of information but as I am not a talkative person before having my second coffee I really don't mind.
I actually admire him for being able to talk about so many subjects- from giving me a detailed weather prognosis over the latest gossip to brandnew banner headlines.
Sometimes it gets a bit annoying though because he tends to be a little "smartass", constantly correcting grammar or spelling mistakes.

However, I would never get mad at him as I know that he only wants what is best for me and I really appreciate that.
I pay my laptop back by tenderly stroking over his skin as I am typing about my feelings or what has been bothering me and I usually feel much better after letting it all out.
He always listens and never interrupts- character traits which should not be taken for granted nowadays.

In the evening we cuddle in bed watching "Breakfast at Tiffany's" or "Reservoir Dogs" and I can feel his warm body through the blanket which is especially nice on cold, rainy evenings which we seem to have lot at the moment.
After a last check-up on what has happened in the meantime, we usually spend the rest of the evening on our own.
Before he falls asleep, however, I can hear his melodic voice announcing that he is turning off now whispering a last goodbye before blacking out...
